The story
I'm Seba. For ten years I owned and ran retail and hospitality businesses, and for twenty-five I've written software.
[Seba's own words: the shops, what didn't work behind the counter, and when you decided to build Posuku.]
Posuku is the app I wanted then: one place for the till, the online shop, the food safety records and the fridges, on whatever tablet is on the counter, at a price a small shop can carry.
How we work
- We answer the phone. When you ring, you get one of us.
- We build what you need. Several things in Posuku exist because a customer asked for them.
- We're in New Zealand. NZ card terminals, NZ food safety, NZ prices with GST in them.
What if you disappear?
A fair question to ask anyone small. Here's our answer:
- Your data is yours. Export everything, any time, in plain files.
- Your books are safe. The Xero export means your bookkeeper has your sales already.
- Your food safety records are always yours to export, paid up or not.
- No contract. If we stop being worth it, you can leave.
